World Spay Day- Rabbits
Today is world Spay Day!
Because of Jim advocates for Spay and Neuter. There are benefits to both sexes and to fur parents.
Did you know that rabbits can be safely spayed or neutered at around 5 months old?
Did you know that unaltered rabbits can build up so much sexual frustration that they will fight with even the same sex rabbit? Did you know that an altered rabbit is much easier and more reliable to train not just in the litterbox but also in other areas? Did you know that rabbits are actually much more loving and friendly when they have been altered? And there are health benefits too. Altered rabbits of both sexes live longer. Altered rabbits can be spared from some cancers if they are altered.

Rabbits 101 – All About Rabbits Rescue
Save lives by preventing in wanted litters! Rabbits are the third most popular companion animal in the US. They are also the third most euthanized. Worse, they are the most abandoned in the UK and the US. Most people do not realize that domesticated rabbits unlike cats, do not adapt in the wild. They become easy prey if they live long enough to become prey.
