Today is inspire your heart with art day. Some of my favorite works of art are animal inspired. With all the new apps and programs available you don’t need to be a pro to turn your favorite fur kid's photos into a work of art.
If you want to support a working artist there are many who specialize in animal art. Mike Segal is an artist in Cedar Key Florida. He has a unique style and paints a variety of different subjects. Here are a few of my favorites.
Art is not only visual. Music, poetry, theater, and literature are all great forms of art, and you can find animals in every discipline. Animals have been the inspiration for artwork from the very beginning of communication.

The Broadway musical Cats composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber, is based on the 1939 poetry collection Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats by T. S. Eliot.
A Street Cat named Bob written by James Bowen, was also turned into a movie by the same name.
