National Kitten Day July 10th

Tomorrow is National Kitten Day! You can get a jump on the celebration by searching for kitten videos or visiting a shelter. Last month was kitten adoption month but there are still plenty of kittens who need furever homes and emergency fosters. Not sure if you are ready for a kitten? They can lower your stress level, add to your overall happiness, and are great siblings for your little ones. Kittens need a little more attention than adult cats and don’t forget they don’t stay kittens forever, but even grown they have an amazing ability to help lower your blood pressure and they can be very intuitive.

If you can’t adopt or foster, maybe you could sponsor one in a shelter. Sponsors can be the difference between life and death sometimes. But if you’re still not convinced here are some kittens who are up for adoption, and some more who have been adopted and are living their best cat lives. Just looking at pictures of kittens is good for your health!

These kittens are available for adoption at Firetower Animal Clinic in Winterville NC.
